3. Do the "Like A Mighty Army" Home Study course - This is a 12 lesson course which consists of a work book, answer sheets, the book Colporteur Ministry and your Bible. The purpose of this course is not only to give you some basic training Christian salesmanship but also gives you some idea if this ministry is for you.  Like the Pastoral ministry it needs to be a call from God.  This course costs $40.00, but if you have the book Colporteur Ministry it costs $25.00.  See Area Managers - Unit Leader - Literature Evangelist

4. Make an Application - This goes before the local Conference Committee for approval, then to the Publishing Administration Committee. The information is confidential, you will be asked to give details about your state of health, financial situation and past employment. Two referrals will be asked for: your church Pastor and an Elder.

5. Learn a Sales Presentation

6. Attend a Training Seminar - This generally runs for a week.

7. Sign a Distributorship Agreement.
