While visiting in Narrogin, three hours north of home last week, we had one of those Wow, God is awesome! experiences. The type of encounters where you think to yourself “ wow, what awesome timing Lord” And then the more you analyze, the more that you understand the timing and many other factors and ingredients of the event, your appreciation and amazement grows exponentially! Let me try and explain briefly…… (Names and addresses altered).
On being graciously invited in to Bev’s home on such a chilly day, I just happened to notice a form of a man quickly slip away through the kitchen. Explaining the reason of our call we offered to share with whoever else was in the house, she mentioned that he was not interested, and we commenced our display. Bev did not make a decision to order, explaining finances were tight when you were a widow on a pension. We prayed with, and for her, and she gladly received some spiritual giveaways. Asking for referrals she suggested some friends over the next street, I mused at the surname of the people, as I am friends with some people with the same family name. It wasn’t until that night that we made it to that house 37 Range Rd. Greg happily greeted us and I questioned him about his family roots and if he knew my good friends, he did! Needless to say, I was warmly invited into their home, and Greg and his wife Sally happily purchased our resources.
The next morning I was busy catching up with existing customers, working through my list systematically. On reviewing my list I noticed there was one more visit I had to make. Debbie, she was a client of mine about 8 years ago who I’d passed on to Brenton and Sandi Lowe who had continued offering our service with her.

However due to the Lowe’s (LE’s Pictured above) call to leadership, associated move and their noticing that Debbie often visited and stayed in Narrogin they sent her details to me. Her address where she stayed while in Narrogin was37 Range Rd, so off we went.On arriving we both realised it was where we met Greg and Sally the night before, “How does this work?” we thought. I dashed over and knocked on the door, ready to ask if Greg and Sally knew Debbie. They weren’t home. Back in the car, I paused to double check the address etc before driving off, and discovered that Debbie’s back-up phone contact was Sally! We were at the right place, Wow! What a coincidence we thought. Just then we heard a knocking sound and looked over to see a just a glimpse of a pair of shoes over at Greg and Sally’s door. Thinking it may have been Greg or Sally, opening their door I raced back over. It wasn’t them but appeared to be another visitor knocking at their door; I hadn’t seen anyone on the street seconds before. As the man turned toward me I introduced myself, and instantly had the thought, “I’ve met this man before but where?” As soon as he spoke I knew for sure I did know him, and I repeated back a piece of philosophy that he had conceived and shared with me. He confirmed it, and we were both amazed. You see, I had first met Leonmore than 14 years ago while doing street ministry in Perth, he was living on the streets. We had nearly met him the day before (he was the man I had seen slip through the kitchen at Bev’s house) I had distinct impression to share with him just the Family Bible and the Doug Batchelor DVDs, and Praise God, he ordered them. Some people would call this synchronicity, I say no way, its Divine Providence.
