Dear God, I thank you that you love me… . Yesterday I did a delivery for a lady by the name of Jayne. She was so happy to receive her Large Family Bible and is looking forward to her future visits and deliveries. Jayne Then asked me to visit her friend by the name of Daranee, who I had sold books to a couple of years ago, “She is now separated and it would be good if you go over and see her.” Over to Daranee’s home I went and she was happy I came. She had a friend there by the name of Joanne and before long the conversation turned to the spiritual. I encouraged them both to pray to God everyday and to ask Him to always help them. As we shared together I sensed that they were very open to God’s spirit speaking to their hearts. I took the opportunity to briefly share my testimony and then I asked them if they had ever prayed a prayer to invite God into their lives. They didn’t quite understand what I meant and so I simply explained the beautiful gospel story. I then told them how we can pray a prayer and make God a part of our life. I shared with them how when I was doing my tertiary studies I was approached by two Christians who told me about God, and how they then asked me if I wanted to pray with them and invite God into my life. They listened to my story and then I asked them both if they wanted to pray a similar prayer. They said they would and so I prayed as they repeated the words, “Dear God, I thank you that you love me. I thank you that you gave your son Jesus to die for me. I accept Him as my Saviour. Forgive my sins. Help me to live the way you want me to live. In Jesus’ name I ask.” I thank God for His leading in that visit with Daranee and Joanne, and I am looking forward to seeing them when I next call.
